Booking and payment
1.1Your place is confirmed only when full payment is received through our payment page or a payment link we send you.
1.2Prices are shown in Indian rupees. The early-bird price includes GST and applies to bookings paid in full at least 14 days before the retreat date. After that, GST at the applicable rate is added to the listed price.
1.3A tax invoice is issued on request. For company-paid bookings, give the company's name and GSTIN when you book; we cannot change invoice details after the invoice is issued.

What's included
2.1The fee covers one night's accommodation, all meals and chai during the retreat, all materials, all facilitated sessions, the execution plan workbook, three online group check-ins (February, April and July 2027), reflection prompts by email, and the July letter.
2.2The fee does not cover travel to or from the venue, personal expenses, or anything not listed above.

Rooms
3.1Single rooms are for one person. Twin share is for two people who book together.
3.2We only pair participants who did not book together if both ask for it, and only with someone of the same gender.

Minimum numbers and changes by us
4.1Each date runs with at least 6 participants. If a date does not reach this, we will tell you by 30 December 2026 (Lonavala) or 6 January 2027 (Dehradun), and you can choose a full refund or a place on the other date.
4.2If we have to cancel or postpone for reasons beyond our control — severe weather, natural events, government restrictions or similar — we will offer a new date or a full refund. We are not responsible for travel or other costs you have incurred.
4.3We may make reasonable changes to the schedule or activities on the day, for example for weather.

If you cancel
30 or more days before the retreat: full refund, minus payment processing charges.
14 to 29 days before: 50% refund, or move your place to the other date or the next edition at no cost.
Fewer than 14 days before, or if you don't arrive: no refund. You can pass your place to a colleague or friend by telling us at least 48 hours before the start.
Cancellations must be sent by email to amit@pauseandarrive.com. Refunds go back to the original payment method within 10 working days.

The Viram credit
6.1If you book Viram within 90 days of attending Aarambh, ₹10,000 of your Aarambh fee (excluding GST) is credited toward the Viram fee.
6.2The credit applies once per person, cannot be exchanged for cash, cannot be transferred to anyone else, and does not apply if you did not attend Aarambh.

Your wellbeing
7.1Aarambh is a reflective retreat. It is not therapy, counselling, medical care or financial advice.
7.2Please tell us before the retreat about any health condition, allergy or dietary need we should know about. The walks are gentle, but please tell us if you have mobility limitations.
7.3If you are going through a mental health crisis, please speak to a qualified professional before booking. Amit may honestly suggest that another kind of support would serve you better.

Conduct and confidentiality
8.1What others share in the circles stays in the room. By attending, you agree not to repeat or record what other participants share.
8.2We may ask anyone whose behaviour disrupts the group or makes others unsafe to leave, without a refund.
8.3Phones are kept in a pouch for most of the retreat, with two short windows to check messages.

Photographs
We may take photographs of the venue, the canvases and group moments. We will only use images in which you can be identified with your written permission. Your canvas photo is shared only with you unless you agree otherwise.

Your information
We use your details to run the retreat, the check-ins and the July letter, and to tell you about future Pause and Arrive programmes. We never sell your information. You can ask us to stop contacting you at any time. Your intake answers are read only by Amit.

Liability
You take part at your own risk, and you are responsible for your own belongings. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the fee you paid for Aarambh. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.
12
General
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Dehradun have jurisdiction. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.
